The planters were inspired by natural processes: in Norwegian, tarmer means "subsoil" - this is what hides under the surface and can break out. The stems of flowers sticking out of the planter and the spreading leaves appear as streams beating into the sky from the bowels of the earth. The plasticity of plants is especially emphasized thanks to the geometric shape of TARMER and its flat edges.
