Armchair TUTTU Aviator

As children, my brothers and I were very fond of listening to grandfather's stories about life, begging for them at any opportunity, perched on the floor around the chair. And with which he spoiled us from time to time, slowly leading the unhurried thread of the story, with distractions to detailed details, sitting on his chair - the same lover of stories of the past! Inspired by childhood memories, we took on the reincarnation of an archaic object that has become such a close and mute witness to growing up for us. In our interpretation, the heroes of the past come to life like a chameleon, coloring themselves in the surroundings of the scene of the story. Working through the details of the collection and finishing materials, we created four brutal archetypes from the stories of grandfather, associated with the activities we remember: Savant (engineer), Lumberer (lumberjack), Farmer (peasant), Aviator (pilot). Abandoning the classic image, we left an open look, clear content and a comfortable fit at the core of the uniform, calling the collection a pleasant invented word Tuttu. The TUTTU Aviator image is based on the elements of the uniform of pilots and mechanics. Deliberately rough canvas fabric, contrasting stitching, straps, buckles, fake side number, as well as slings that tighten the seat and back, pressing them to the frame. These details form an object associated with the heroism and courage of the first conquerors of the heavenly ocean. Designer: Sergey Lvov. Year of creation: 2019
