The TUTTU Denim armchair was designed in collaboration with TOKONIKOMU remodeled denim clothing brand. Taking into account the pressing environmental issues, we have tried to make our modest contribution to the sustainable and ecological future of design directions, in which we can give new life to products and materials, leveling their impact on the environment. TUTTU Denim has a marginal character, with a touch of rebellion, which challenges fast fashion. This type broadcasts a dialogue about the modern concepts of Sustainability and Slow Fashion. It is created for the modern generation of post-pop people who follow the principles of conscious consumption: they ignore fast fashion and not sustainable materials, and prefer durable, including vintage, out-of-season items, often made by local artisan workshops. In addition, using recycled clothing elements for the outer cover of the patchwork chair, it is possible to achieve a simple yet striking visual effect, which is so necessary for an informal, extravagant setting.
