The Monteur armchair is an addition to the TUTTU series of the same name, enhancing its versatile, functional character. The interchangeable soft parts have made it possible to create a family of modular chairs united by a friendly design. The chair takes its name from the French word for editor. Inspired by a man who deliberately cuts off the excess, leaving the very essence. Monteur has become the epitome of this craft, thanks to its laconic appearance and meticulous attention to detail. Its distinguishing feature is the rounded and harmonious shapes of the seat and back, located on a universal steel frame. And the smooth line of the piping, outlining the silhouette, emphasizes its clean image.

We delved into the study of the soft part, creating a removable outer cover with two separate sections for the back and seat. It is quickly attached to the frame with convenient Velcro. The inner cushions are made up of a combination of polyurethane foam, the main cushioning material, and a felt backing to provide bounce. Thanks to this, the landing received additional comfort and greater stability in operation for many years. This also allows it to be used for both home furnishings and more formal spaces and waiting rooms. Monteur is easily personalized thanks to the combination of a large palette of indoor and outdoor textiles.
